Genny Cruz

Genny started her coaching experience in college helping youth athletes at summer camps and satellite camps for both colleges she attended. Cruz also volunteer coached for 303 Volleyball Academy from 2017 to 2021.

Cruz played for two seasons at the University of North Alabama appearing in 32 matches. She helped her team earn a conference championships in 2016, along with 2 NCAA regional appearances in both 2016 and 2017. She finished her last two seasons at Northwest Missouri State playing in 33 matches. During the 2019 season her team consistently ranked top 10 in the AVCA coaches poll. After graduated from Northwest Missouri State with a biology degree in 2021, she transitioned to playing beach volleyball competing at the Open level with several top 5 finishes.
